The Omnistar Tell Referral Software supports the setup of a multi-tier referral program. With our software you can create up to two tiers. This will allow your referral partners to sign up other affiliates under them so that they can earn a commission from the referred sales of those people under them.

In order to get the multi-tier functionality enabled for your account,  you first need to request this through our support department by emailing them at  After our support department responds back to you and confirms that the multi tier functionality is available, you should follow the steps below.

1. Login to your administrative control panel.

2. From the Top drop down navigation click Manage Referral Programs -> Add Referral Program.


3. Complete the fields on the first page of settings for your referral program. 

4. At the bottom of the initial page of settings click the link that says "Show Advanced Settings"


5. Scroll down and select "Yes" next to the question "Do you want to setup multi-tier commission:?"

6. Now where it says "Commission Amount to Pay Affiliate Users for 2 Tier:" you should put in your tier 2 commission amount. This can be a percentage of the order total or a fixed amount.


7. Click continue at the bottom of this page of settings.



8. Complete the settings on the next page and then click Finish.

Once you have this all setup, your referral partners will be able to access a link in their dashboard that will take them to a sign up page where they can have people get details about your program and sign up under them. Details on how to access this referral link will be described later in this article.  Before fully launching everything, we recommend that you customize this interface page with the specifics about your program.  To customize this interface page, follow these steps below:

1. Login to your administrative control panel.

2. Click Getting Started -> Customize Interface

3. Go through all of the options on this page to customize your interface. You can start by clicking the "Customize Template" button.


4. Now when your referral partners login to their dashboard, they will see a separate link in their dashboard that they can share to get people to sign up under them. 


5. To make sure this option is enabled in the affiliates dashboard go to settings -> View advanced setting and then check the box that says, "Allow Users to Recruit Other Users:"



After completing these steps, your multi-tier program will be enabled and all set for affiliates to have other affiliates sign up under them.
